This course is for those staff and careers working in the health and social care sector who have the responsibility for looking after individuals who suffer from epilepsy and non-epileptic seizures and require the use of midazolam for their seizure management. Designed to be both learner and client centred and delivered in accordance with an individual’s care plan and within the best practice guidelines of the Joint Epilepsy Council (2013) guidelines.

This course is delivered by our managing director a paramedic who brings extensive experience in the management of seizures in an emergency setting, we aim to teach through experience giving learners the confidence to respond effectively in an emergency.  

We strongly recommend that learners have a current first aid qualification and are attending the course willingly.
